Who We Are

Co-founders Vernel Dolor and  Khadijah Murchison  established Inside Out to revolutionise the landscape of positive mental health and behavioural interventions.

The organisation was born out of personal experience, including mental health struggles, traumatic encounters, the complexities of the judicial and prison systems, the allure of gang culture and the challenging path of rehabilitation.

United by a profound dedication to change, they adopt an innovative, holistic approach, blending therapy, social engagement and intergenerational wisdom to empower and uplift vulnerable young adults.

Redefining Rehabilitation

We are 'redefining rehabilitation' with a dynamic, holistic urban intervention model that spans the realms of mental health and emotional wellbeing, education, employment, and housing. Our personalised 1-1 and group workshops, along with mentorship, empower individuals with first-hand experience of the criminal justice system, those at risk, and those from neurodiverse and disadvantaged backgrounds.

Our approach goes beyond traditional methods, providing comprehensive support that encompasses rehabilitation, resettlement, self-reflection, and personal discovery. Through immersive workshops delivered across various settings—including prisons, secure units, alternative to custody suites, educational institutions, and both private, public, and government sector organisations across the UK—we foster true transformation.

Our initiatives benefit local communities by reducing recidivism through offender management and rehabilitation programmes tailored to the unique needs of those involved in the criminal justice system. We deliver educational, health, and career workshops and resources for underprivileged and disadvantaged youths nationwide.

We are dedicated to nurturing and spearheading excellence by creating a community that is safe, consistent, and transformational, giving individuals the tools and courage to transform their lives and the lives of others.

Our Mission

To equip vulnerable individuals with the skills, mindset and determination to overcome adversity, achieve financial independence and become positive contributors to society. By recognising and celebrating neurodiversity, our goal is to unleash the untapped potential within every individual.

  • “It is hard to put into words the admiration I have for Vee. The way he has turned his life around is awe inspiring. Like so many he had a pre determined path, was a victim of nurture versus nature and proves that with support and opportunity people can change. I would trust him with my life and very much hope he is given the platforms to inspire others to use their privilege to help break the cycle and to inspire those without it, to pursue a better path.”

  • “Thank you so much for coming to our school and sharing your story. It was really inspirational but also a great eye-opener, I found it really interesting when you were talking about the power of the mind and envisioning yourself in better scenarios. I think that is something everyone can learn from, so thank you for sharing.”

  • “I really enjoyed the talk, which Vee made very engaging, especially in the way he was so descriptive when talking about the places he has been. I know it was only an hour but I would like to have heard a bit more about what he is now doing now. In my top 3 Bradfield talks.”
