Founder & CEO

Georgie Coleridge Cole grew up in South West London, where she currently lives with her husband and three children. She received an MA in French from Edinburgh University and went on to work in marketing for COTY Beauty before launching SheerLuxe in 2007 – an online lifestyle publisher featuring news, views, edits and opinions on all things relevant and desirable for the modern consumer.

SheerLuxe has shaped what successful digital marketing looks like in the UK. They have a team of over 60 employees, over 625,000 newsletter subscribers, over 1 million social followers and myriad emerging and well-established brands and retailers as its commercial partners – from Net-a-Porter, MatchesFashion and Harvey Nichols, to Reiss, Charlotte Tilbury & Chanel. Alongside well established retail brands they are huge supporters of British founder led businesses and entrepreneurship.

Alongside its wealth of editorial – covering everything from fashion and beauty to culture, cause and lifestyle – the publication utilises YouTube, podcasts and social media to give readers 360-degree access to the SheerLuxe lifestyle. The popular weekly SheerLuxe Show, a weekly magazine-style programme features on YouTube.

In 2017, SheerLuxe launched its SheerLuxe Team Podcast, which delves deeper into the stories that have everyone talking. It runs alongside the Success Stories Podcast & In Conversation With Podcast, which interviews some of the UK’s most inspiring entrepreneurs and talent.

In Autumn 2019 SheerLuxe launched SLMan.com - a website and weekly email sent to 75,000 male subscribers helping modern men live their most stylish life.

In 2020 they launched the SheerLuxe monthly Bridal Edition and Parenting Edition.Plus the LUXEGIRL show, a monthly magazine-style show aimed at the pre SL generation featured on YouTube. 

In February 2021, SheerLuxe launched The Gold Edition - a weekly edition of stories aimed at the 55+ market. That  Spring SL launched its digital Spring Fair showcasing approximately 100 small brands via a 3 day online shopping event. In April that year they launched Ultra Luxe a bi annual addition aimed at high spenders.

In February 2022 Georgie Coleridge Cole launched Luxe&Co, a branding and design agency that helps brands and services with great products and offerings have their best chance of success via aspirational branding and content combined with unique commercial savvy. Part of the Luxe&Co mission is to provide pro bono time and resource to start ups led by founders from under privileged backgrounds. They have recently completed a website for an ex offender turned motivational speaker. They also employ an ex offender as there in house male model for SLMan.

After several years working with Key4Life where Georgie was awarded a Younited Flag for employing an ex offender and played a key role in their 10 year anniversary Gala fundraiser, today, SheerLuxe partners with Working Chance a charity helping female offenders find employment, a cause very close to Georgie’s heart. She is also on a mission to have authentic, productive conversations around neurodiversity in order to support those with it and parents of neurodiverse children.

Most recently SheerLuxe has launched the SL Community - a place where readers can ask questions and share information with their fellow SheerLuxe readers. 

In October 2023 SheerLuxe launches in the Middle East connecting brands, retailers, and services in the region with target consumers through its authentic voice and unique approach to digital publishing.

Also in October 2023, Georgie will launch BLUSH Talent Mgmt, a talent management agency representing content creators, profession industry leaders and SheerLuxe Team members with independent followings.
