Co-founders Vernel Dolor and Khadijah Murchison established Inside Out with a visionary mission – to revolutionise the landscape of positive mental health and behavioural interventions. Their commitment shines through in their innovative approach, blending therapy, social engagement and intergenerational wisdom to empower and uplift vulnerable young adults.
The organisation was born out of personal experience, including mental health struggles, traumatic encounters, the complexities of the judicial and prison systems, the allure of gang culture and the challenging path of rehabilitation intersected. These experiences are not just a backdrop but a catalyst for each individual on their Inside Out journey.
United by a profound dedication to change, Vernel and Khadijah have collectively and positively impacted the lives of over 1,000 young adults. Inside Out’s holistic support spans the realms of rehabilitation, education, employment and housing, forging pathways towards brighter futures for those it serves.
