Our Co-Founders

Our co-founders are a driving force for change and opportunities that go way beyond what those in less privileged positions think may be possible.

Vernel Dolor has first-hand experience in gang culture, crime and prison, as well as trauma, mental health struggles and rehabilitation, but has come out the other side to share his inspirational story, and help others do the same.

Khadijah Murchison, a youth development expert & leader, has dedicated her career to uplifting disadvantaged young people - particularly those from minoritised communities - and uses her skills to motivate and transform young minds.

Together, they are determined to inspire vulnerable young people and ex-offenders to choose a different path. By working with Inside Out, we can open your employees’ eyes to the issues some people face and influence them to use their privilege.

Inspiring The Next Generation

Independent Schools

Vernel is available to speak in schools, delivering inspiring presentations that tell his story openly and honestly. He hopes to inspire the next generation and encourage those in the position to do so, to use their privilege for good. In a time when resilience is so key to success he is living proof that when you have the right mindset you can overcome anything and implement positive change. For every paid job Inside Out is booked for, we’ll complete a complimentary session in a school in an underprivileged area.

Mentoring

Underprivileged schools to parents, pupils & staff

As someone who has benefited greatly from the advice and guidance of a positive role model and mentor, Vernel’s mentorship training encourages individuals to choose their path, identify challenges and areas of growth. He empowers change through explaining the importance of integrating with society in a meaningful way. From Vernel’s experiences he teaches the importance of maintaining a positive mindset and how he finally chose a different path.

Life & Mindset Coaching using Neuro Linguistics Practitioner (NLP) Techniques

Having trained in life and mindset coaching and as a fully-qualified Neuro Linguistics Practitioner, Vernel can help individuals harness the power of mind to break habitual behaviour patterns. He provides practical advice for implementing the techniques to address phobias, anxiety and depression. Vernel encourages recognise states and state changing and understand that power all starts from within. His applicable guidance aids in setting achievable goals and drives to create change.

Corporate Responsibility: Nature Versus Nurture

Vernel is available to tell his raw and honest story of growing up in one of London’s toughest gangs, his time in prison and how he has managed to turn his life around. He explains and encourages people in a position of privilege why it is so important to question why people end up offending and adapt their perspective on employing with or supporting ex-offenders.
